Arachnophobia Part II: The Evidence

Ok, ok, you want it, you got it.

Most of your emails lately have contained amused references to Humble's phobia.

"How creepy could a stuffed spider be?" you scoffed.

I give you, The Beast.

If the idea of having this thing (with it's multiple eyes, spinnerets, and mouth pincers) in your living room -- and occasionally flying across the room onto your lap -- doesn't make you want to chew your own foot off in terror, that's because YOU are NOT an arachnophobe.

The energy Humble is using to suppress her True Sentiments in front of the Rugrats will likely cause her to develop generalized chronic Stuffozooaphobia. If anyone knows the real name for "Fear of Stuffed Animals", send that baby through.

bestia = Latin for animal
refertus = Latin for stuffed

Latin syntax reverses subject and modifier, so we get Bestiarefertophobia. Support groups meet weekly at your local FAO Schwartz.
